This page contains links to my mead making logs. These
logs generally contain the
recipe and the entire procedure I followed in
creating the batch of mead.

I've decided that the labels I can get are WAY too hard
to clean off of the bottles, so I've started
printing small circular labels
that can be affixed to the bottle cap. This is the number
I've placed on
the bottles.
Future Plans
not necessarily
in order
One other thing I'm planning. This fall, I plan to plant some fruit bushes and/or trees around my house. I'm currently leaning towards a thornless variety of blackberry, but thats not set in stone yet. The basic plan is to grow my own fruit for melomels. I have one location where I could plant a small tree, another location on the north side of the house that gets full afternoon sunlight, and a location by the back fence that is in shade most of the time. I'm going to do some investigation to see what would grow best in these conditions and get something planted. After all, why buy fruit / berries when I can grow my own!
